About the MindBalancing Meditation Programme
The quick and easy way to benefit from relaxation and meditation.

This user-friendly relaxation and meditation programme has been developed by clinical psychologist Reinhard Kowalski, who regularly teaches it to groups of people in the UK and abroad. It has also been successfully taught to groups of nurses in the British Health Service. The programme consists of a range of relaxation and meditation exercises which are available on CD. The exercises contain elements from Yoga-meditation, psychosynthesis and CBT. The programme induces deep states of relaxation, helps concentration and grounding, aids in the relief of physical symptoms, and can be used as an adjunct to other forms of therapy.

Meditation is a powerful tool for the healing of body and mind. But it is more than that as well. Its true power lies in the way in which it can transform us and our world. Becoming more awake and grounded in the present moment makes us stronger and we acquire and radiate a spiritual strength that is picked up by others. This way we can send healing energy to others and the planet as a whole.

Meditation originates in the Eastern Yogic traditions where 'feeling one' with other people, creatures and the planet is seen as our normal state. But we have deviated from that state and meditation aims at guiding us back to it. The MindBalancing programme does this almost as a side-effect. After a short period of regular practice you will notice that you feel more connected with the world around you and with the planet. This feeling then becomes the basis for becoming more ecologically-minded or 'greener' in your attitudes, because hurting other creatures or the planet is becoming synonymous with hurting yourself.

The MindBalancing programme is often taught in groups and we would like to encourage you to meditate with your friends, family or colleagues at work. This is a very ecological approach in many ways. When groups of people meditate together they radiate a powerful energy and research has shown that this can have a very positive effect on whole communities. By forming groups with people in your community you also reduce fragmentation and you avoid many individuals all travelling to different distant destinations for their classes and group meetings, thus reducing transport related energy waste and pollution.
